So, he has a trash bag being supported by bamboo sticks?

Wouldn't a decent quality tent work better as backpackers have proven for decades?

The benefit of this "house" is that nobody will steal this one. A decent tent may disappear quickly. I know about some folks having their tent stolen while being on a long distance motorbike trip (from Argentina to Peru and back again). They just went for a small hike and the tent were gone.

Liu Lingchao built this bamboo and plastic house from scratch and is able to carry it around on his shoulders. The structure, which weighs 132 lbs (60 kg), provides shelter from the elements and has a few shelves for storage.
