You're both wrong sort of , Celsius is based on Water's Physical States ...0 C is frozen (solid) and 100 C is boiling (gas).....some how years ago when certain countries of the World decided they would use Celsius as their "Standard Measure of Temperature" they didn't think it out completely ( big shock right? ) anyway they've changed Celsius to go beyond the original 0-100 scale.
