I wouldn't care so much about the trash, that takes just a couple of containers. But look at the horrible walls, doors and damages.. Not worth the money at all.

Trash or no trash, he'll turn it a tidy profit in a couple of years. He got that property for a bargain.

He has no one to blame but himself. He was willing to pay for the house but wouldn't take 1/2 a day and transportation costs to inspect it first?
He's an idiot.

He's not an idiot or a dumbass. That townhouse was a steal at that price. The two properties on either side are easily worth £1,000,000 or more. London real estate is through the roof. He'll refurb that house by investing only a 100,000 more quid and still make a profit after he flips it.

if he's wealthy enough to pay that much for a property sight-unseen, then a cleanup and refurb are hardly going to break his bank or ruin his plan. i agree with pitterpat.

The house in North London had been previously owned by an elderly couple who had lived there since the 1960s. They had hoarded so many years’ worth of junk that the piles of clothes, furniture, knick-knacks and rubbish made it almost impossible to even get inside!
