When (not if) the zombie apocalypse comes, I'll favor a semi-automatic shotgun rather than something like this. For longer range, this would work better but for an urban environment, where the zombies can be corralled into narrow areas, I think a shotgun would have a higher destruction rate (you can't say 'kill rate' since they're already dead) and anyone can use a shotgun - no aiming practice needed.
