that's a really cool trick and yes, he really was. i was never a huge fan of his music, but his personal style of singing / dancing was quite unique and impressive.
it's stupid to paint people with a single brush because we're all pretty complex and even contradictory. just our nature.

lolmaster5000, many such arrangements are partnerships between the idea person with little technical or engineering know-how and the nuts-and-bolt designers who would not have thought of the idea on their own. each needs the other.
not everyone can be a nikola tesla, and jackson did have a few side-projects and interests which tended to absorb his time.
