Think about this: If you had $600,000.00 to spend, would you rather buy one of these comic books or a nice home?
or...
...at a $1000 a weekend, you could have a decent time with hooker(s) for 11.5 YEARS - EVERY weekend.
or...
10 new Corvettes
or...
a nice home ($290,000), a new Corvette ($60,000), and still have a quarter million dollars left over.

I just thought of another one: You could have Lindsey Lohan blow you 300,000 times.

because they're rich and and heavy on disposable income, obviously.
and it does make me wonder how many criminals are counterfeiting comic books. probably a lot less risky than doing currency, and not as many expert appraisers around, like with gems and jewelry. just think of their prey: excited teenagers at conventions who just want what they want...
