I wish people would just discipline their wretched offspring properly and administer slaps on the ass, or at least the threat of it, when needed.
This bullshit about not being allowed to hit your kids when they've been very bad is largely what's wrong with school kids and has undoubtedly contributed to the massive upturn in antisocial behaviour seen in recent years.
