About a year later I got a new coworker. I was still quite shy and it took me more than a month to finally get the courage to talk to her. When I finally did, I felt like we instantly clicked (apparently she was kind of weirded out by me... but no matter. I am a weird guy). We started dating a couple months later.

Hopefully, she is USA born. I know a guy not too different from the one in these pics and his first love was a foreign girl who was just looking for citizenship and money. She got it and bankrupted him.

It's amazing what relationships do to people. Give you confidence or strip you of it. Well done sir, wish it could of happened sooner for you. This gives me hope.
