Here's one that many people refuse to believe...
There originally were 4 FOUR ghostbusters and the 4th one was a BLACK guy ( I hear Ernie Hudson was considered for the role). In some early shots of the film, you can see a black guy in the background...

i think they missed some factoids. IIRC, one of them was that in #8 the guy got pounded bad by all that shaving cream dropped on him. got a concussion... or was it that he almost asphyxiated? well, something like that.
