taggers are still human beings, and human beings tend to follow their preferences. meaning that even if the new door is tagged, it will probably be tagged at a reduced amount and with lesser frequency. that's still better if it means less whitewashing.
I'll be honest - I really don't get your logic; if something is painted normally, then taggers will surely tag it; if it is painted the way it is now, it has less chances of getting tagged; if it *IS* tagged, it has even less chances of getting tagged.
You either have an incredibly enormous amount of tagger friends whose preferences in tagging you know, thus you can make such a generalization, either you you have some clear statistical data.
Anyway, the issue is *why* would they *not* tag it if it were painted in such a manner, in determent to a normal fashion?

this looks nice and is probably a clever way to get them to leave it alone. what the taggers prefer is a blank slate.
