Wouldn't life be so much more exciting if they were still here. You wouldn't need burglar alarm if you had one of them in your garden.

#1 A feather? They found the whole creature, with feathers. It's one of the worlds most famous and iconic fossils.

most of these creatures can still be observed at your local walmart.
Megalania
Sometimes called the giant ripper lizard, Megalania fed on a diet of mammals, snakes, other reptiles, and birds. The nearest modern day relative is the Komodo dragon that inhabits the Flores Islands in Indonesia.
