Might as well animate all of it at this point. You don't need actors, you don't need sets...

Remember that episode of "Entourage" in which James Cameron told E. that in 5 years, actors won't be needed anymore.... ^^

I have to say I'm really impress with that new technology and in long term, amaters will be able to create their own version and such bringing a new way of movie making.
The only fear I have is the way the Majors are going to use it. I don't want to see my old'fashion-movie-set-with-speaking-actors get dismissed too soon only to have bad-cheap-movie-making like all those 3D-converted flick.
Nice film bro... but the awkward moment when I get home and I don't have the 3D technology/ Dolby atmos required and the only thing that's left is a movie with a bad script.... kurva quoi !

I look forward to the day when they can scan in dead actors and make new movies with them using CGI. Wouldn't it be cool to see an action movie teaming up Bruce Lee with the Three Stooges?

"We think that computer graphics are going to be so realistic in real time that, over the next decade, we'll start to be able to take the post out of post-production; where you'll leave a movie set and the shot is pretty much complete" - Kim Libreri, chief technology strategy officer for Lucasfilm.
