Nancy became Nathan by undergoing hormone therapy and surgery over a few years. However, when the surgeries t did not go as she planned, she saw herself as a “monster”. On the basis of “unbearable psychological suffering”, Nathan’s request for medical euthanasia was granted and his life was recently ended by a local doctor.
