without the overpopulation of man and the sprawl of cities, these doves would not be a problem. we reduced their predators, the hawks, and provided them free food and shelter, essentially. and then we blame the animal.

I have a dog, think of an oversized Jack Russell Terrier, that catches Pigeons and eats them alive. It sounds barbaric, but hey he doesn't go hungry.
