Yea it looks cool but as a wood worker I can tell you that some of the hardware used isn't strong enough. It's lightweight aluminum and can't take stress.
It is crappy steel, u can see some point with dark oxidation on it, means carbon on it, so steel, iron and a bit of carbon. And alluminium is more light gray. Is a fine work, even if the big veins of the wood and the fact that it is composed by so many pieces, means that obvious if u weight 150 kg u cannot jump on it like a mad pig.
sorry nefus the gray metal pieces are not aluminum, they're galvanized steel, the same thing they use in joist hangers. its more than strong enough.
id like to add, the guy who built this did a nice job and really paid attention to detail. notice the hinges are flush mount, he took the time to rout out the hinge profile. that's not someone who would use aluminum for brackets
