That is a special unit equivalent to the USA's Navy Seals NOT the regular military ---- if you look closely in the first picture in the background, THAT is the regular army with camouflage pants. Much different than these riot police special ops (swat division).

yea, it cuts down on some peripheral vision, but it's a compromise. in the end it's probably better than no mask. but pretty amazing gear, overall. i'd love to see it broken down by pieces and explained.
