You beat me to it :)

It's the specimen at the Natural History Museum. The bird was native to New Zealand and went extinct between 600 and 750 years ago with the arrival of the Maori.

#12 If this was a real dinosaur, it would be such a sensation, that it would be featured on the evening news, long before izi could make a post. This bird (!) went extinct just 500 years ago.

#6 There are no such mountains in the are where the Baltic and North sea meets. The area is actually completely flat. This is probably mineral loaded water from glaciers, meeting salt water. The photo is probably taken in some arctic area.

I suspect someone is creating such BS "fun facts" in great number just for fun, or profit (which is also fun).

No, to be specific, more people are crushed to death by toppling vending machines each year than killed by sharks. Most of the time, it's some asshole trying to get some fucking candy bar for free by tipping it forward, so I say: that's Darwin's theory put into practice.
