okay, now i understand why they made it like that-- it's to create a natural filtration system as an alt to chemical-treated water.
but i do think that making the swimming portion a perfect rectangle looks ridiculous. i mean, if you're going for the pond look, why not make it look like a real pond? (i.e., oval or such) anyway, adding more water plants would help break up that ugly outline.

wouldn't green mold formed on the pebbles...?? he gonna clean it one by one... or change it every week...?
