In 2000, Spanish telecom company, Terra took a gamble on Lycos, an internet search engine. Lycos was at the time the third most visited site in America, but after the dot com bubble burst, Lycos faded. In 2004, the search engine was sold to South Korea-based Daum Communications Corporation for $95.4 million in cash.
Someone didn't do any research, since the amount of radiation leaked from Three Mile Island was less than that in a Banana.

Oh and Pearl Harbour should be on here, but i guess you can't put a price on the President of the USA sending thousands of soldiers to their deaths on purpose, just to piss off the American people and force them to demand America join in on WWII.
