NASA uses the metric system while Lockheed Martin uses the English system when building a satellite

In 1999 a team of Lockheed Martin engineers used the English system of measurement, while the rest of the team used the metric system for a Mars orbiter.
The use of two different measurement systems prevented the spacecraft's navigation coordinates from being transferred from a spacecraft team in Denver to a lab in California. The orbiter was then lost in space, and NASA was out $125 million.

#17 challenger did not actually explode. it burst apart with a large steam discharge, and the crew capsule was still intact afterwards. there was no combustion event IIRC, and the crew likely did not die until a little later.

Someone didn't do any research, since the amount of radiation leaked from Three Mile Island was less than that in a Banana.
The fact that The China Syndrome came out just before, was the cause of every retarded American freaking out and making it out to be bigger than it was. Like Boston, or 9/11.
Oh and Pearl Harbour should be on here, but i guess you can't put a price on the President of the USA sending thousands of soldiers to their deaths on purpose, just to piss off the American people and force them to demand America join in on WWII.
