Actor John Wilkes Booth, a well-known member of the prominent Booth acting family, famously assassinated President Abraham Lincoln at Ford's Theater on April 14, 1865. After announcing that he had avenged the South from tyranny, Booth fled the scene. Twelve days later, he was found hiding in a barn. Union soldiers set the barn on fire and shot Booth while he moved around inside. He died hours later.

He didn't kill anyone...
Angelina should be on this list soon as she seems to be starving herself to death...

7 years, but still here!
By that standard the list could have been MUCH longer.
and btw- John Wilkes Booth was the least talented actor in his family, he was not a celebrity.
He's famous because he assassinated Lincoln, not the other way around.
