#12 Quality not high enough to prove the "theory" - the resolution and JPG artefacts are getting in the way of measuring the RGB values...

suggest looking up a higher-quality version if you really want to measure. google image match, etc.
The Leaning Tower illusion
The two images of the Leaning Tower of Pisa are identical, yet one has the impression that the tower on the right leans more, as if photographed from a different angle.
