here's a tip-- if you're going to study a MA, i recommend you do it with something useful, like a general self-defense class, wrestling, boxing, BJJ, judo and muay thai.
be careful about karate and gongfu, because there's a tonne of dead-ends and wasted time / money in many of those schools. caveat emptor.
