Raynham Hall in Norfolk, England, is supposedly haunted by the ghost of Lady Dorothy Walpole. Hubert C. Provand and Indre Shira took this photo in 1936. They claim it is an image of a ghost descending the staircase, but the more likely explanation is that it is a smear on the camera lens.
