It's not that clear, but it seems that it locks with a key. So anyone who can pick a lock can steal this "bike that cannot be stolen". Also, if you cut the pole/pipe/whatever the word is on which the saddle is just above the locking mechanism you are free to go. I hope they didn't spend more than half a minute designing the bike because a skilled thief would take less to steal it.

true, but it's often not about making something 'foolproof' so much as it is making it more difficult to boost than the next item over.
