Batu Caves, Malaysia
Batu Caves aka Sri Subramaniar Temple is one of the sacred Hindu shrines devoted to Lord Murugan. Located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia, the temple is an iconic tourist destination. The caves are eponymously named after the Sungai Batu or Batu River. It has been documented that Temuan people (a tribe of Orang Asli) used the entrances of some of these caves as a refuge.
