Esther inspired the roommates to stop eating bacon and start a shelter for abused and abandoned commercial farm animals called, “The Esther Effect Farm Animal Sanctuary”. Interestingly Esther loves playing with toys, thinks she is one of the dogs, sleeps on a double bed at night and is able to open food cabinets!
