the water probably has a lot of organic material, otherwise they'd just be spitting it right back out the exhale tube.

Hmm, people pay upwards of $5-10 each to eat em raw and we complain that food has pesticides, toxic chemicals, bacterial contamination, etc!!

The oyster tank also has air stones in it oxygenating the water and moving the water so it isn't stagnant like the other tank.
