This proves absolutely nothing. Who drinks even half that much of a sugary drink every day? even when drinking water the daily recommended intake is only 8 glasses per day. Any sane person should know better.
unfortunately a lot of ppl (in the US, at least) drink a similar amount of sugary drinks every day. ex: lattes, sweetened coffees, iced teas, fruit-ades, sports drinks... even milk, milk substitutes and juice all have high levels of sugar either inherent or added. sucrose, fructose, lactose... even artificial sweeteners can really mess up your system.
This man who drank 10 cans of coke every day for a month gained a huge amount of weight and his blood pressure went up significantly too. Well what did he think would happen?
