Treating Bikes Like Cars
In the Netherlands, children are required to take a written and riding test in cycling at the age of around 10. It means that by the time they become adults, over 30% will use bikes as their main mode of transport, compared to 1% in the US. The central train station in Groningen has parking for 10,000 bikes and this focus has resulted in a dramatic drop in the use of cars and levels of congestion and pollution.

#5 how did norway turn in to "denmark" by the end of the blurb? anyway, the program is apparently called the "sovereign wealth fund." also, the reserve per citizen is apparently somewhere over $100K, not a million. at least in the world's top currency. if the money was zimbabwean or something, i guess the number would be hard to even write down without math.

BTW, #18 is not 100% true. We pay more taxes than we need to the rest of the year to compensate for this. This is an old odd thing created so people could have more money for Christmas.
