The Giger bar isn't modeled after the movie "Alien", it has been modeled by the swiss artist HR Giger, wo also modeled the Aliens as well as Species.
Sunland Pub, South Africa
South Africa’s baobab trees are well known for their enormous size. This particular tree, nicknamed Sunland, is over 6,000 years old and so large that a small bar can operate in the hollow of the trunk. Open since 1933, the pub can only serve a lucky 15 guests at one time.
