The Giger bar isn't modeled after the movie "Alien", it has been modeled by the swiss artist HR Giger, wo also modeled the Aliens as well as Species.

This ice-sculpted bar melts each summer and is completely rebuilt every year. From January to March, chilled cocktails are on offer to visitors, though you should probably consider bringing a coat.
