#1 I bet it took more time to create and name those folders than it takes to search the entire usb disk for that project by name, size, folder types, and so on.
With a really basic knowledge of programming you can do that. You just copy the whole text and split it line by line and then tell the software to create 1 folder with each line and put 3 inside (probably) without any message. Then copy the file to one of them and voila.
And to find the file you need, you only search for the .txt, .rtf, .docx, or wathever your file extension was, and you find it in seconds. So... pointless.
