#4 - Small township in NE Ohio (I forget the name... was just passing thru) has signs out in residential neighborhoods stating that any use of any petroleum-based product on any implement to move and/or remove snow/ice is strictly forbidden and subject to a $2500 fine.
WD40 must really work great or city hall wouldn't be using it as a way to increase revenue!

Arx.... WD40 is basically just oil. So you remove the ice problem with oil and create an entirely new issue. an OIL SLICK.

Have known WD40 since the 70s... and have always assumed it was petroleum based. If it ain't petroleum then... there's something out there that kicks mechanical butt, no doubt.
Like duct tape... it's the tool that outweighs the fool.
