Really sad, the media needs to cover this more rather than keep "rubbing our noses" in what happened 200+ years ago in the US.

#6 Okay, you show were the United States stand, who is the #1 country on the Global Slavery Index? Pretty sure it's Africa and/or the Middle East (just looked it up and yes both of those countries rank up there).

Slaves are much cheaper today than in the past. In the 19th century a slave's cost was very high (around $19,000 in 2015 money). You can get a slave for as little as $90 in 2015
