This wild fire devastated the area in which Debi and Jeff Brusatori lived, destroying their home. While they were frantically fleeing the area, even their cat Ruthie Rosemary was lost in the fire after jumping from the car window.
Amazingly the couple found something that surprised them a few days later. Ruthie was found lying the wheel well of their melted truck and she had somehow managed to survive the fire uninjured, which is nothing short of a miracle.
