conversely, charlotte-- i have no problem with your explanation or your decision not to alter your avatar for france.

the reason why i altered my own avatar is because something like the paris attacks do not happen every day and i felt moved to do so. that doesn't mean i don't feel sympathy for other victims or fail to do my part for them. in fact, the two things don't necessarily have any relationship to each other.
