The words "Svangerskabsforebyggende middel" is a general term used to describe methods to avoid becoming pregnant. When using a condom in Denmark you would use that exact word - or gummi that translates into rubber....

#3 that's obviously a load of rubbish. for one thing, the length of our digestive systems is consistent with a plant-based diet. also, health studies consistently show that balanced vegetarian diets are significantly better for us than diets heavy on animal products.

We are omnivores, although plant food may be the best for us. Our digestive system is designed to do both plant and animal food, but the plant part is not nearly as good as the digestive system used by pure herbivores. We cannot digest the heaviest plant fibers.

of course. my point is that we are omnivores that lean heavily towards the 'plant side of things'. being able to digest the heaviest plant fibers was not a useful cost-benefit adaptation for us because there were so many other plant materials handy.

we are able to digest meat and dairy to some extent, sure, but our digestive systems are so lengthy that it also damages our bodies a little bit each time we do so. classical diseases this promotes are hypertension, cardiovascular issues, and cancers. by comparison, carnivorans deal with this issue by having much shorter digestive systems.

#3 True and you guys forgot to mention that we actually can't digest any vegetable. By exception of chewing things, we don't have any biological way to break cellulose to get nutrients from the cells of plants.
What happens most of the time is that our intestinal flora (micro organisms) break down the veggies for its content and we absorb part of it in a mutual system. Hence why you can get sick if your gut flora isn't healthy.
Also, in practice. You can put raw meat in the a human stomach and it will become liquid, we really can digest that.
And the cherry on top... Our DNA only has instructions to build 11 our of 20 different types of protein required for the construction and maintenance of the body and organs. Then you could say: "But vegetables have proteins" yes they do, but not all of the types. Our system can compensate the lack of a few nutrients but it have a cost in life spam.
In the end, we have a giant ineffective digesting system that by itself consumes 60% of what we eat just to digest the next batch.
The blood pass through all organs and each one put or take something of the stream, some of it goes back to the intestine to help break down certain substances in smaller parts...
So if you eat more than you need, the digestive system gets so occupied that you have no energy left to work or think freely.
Some of you might have had this experience in life: If you eat to a lot and then have to force your self on something like carrying something heavy or swim or have sex and you feel nausea and sometimes even vomit. Its your organs saying we can't work if your muscles are taking all the glucose our of the blood stream.
And last but not least. If you don't have a balanced diet, in other words, eat the same thing everyday, you can get fat and suffer from sub nutrition at the same time. Humans can stay up for months without eating any solid, most people won't even change their metabolic system up to 5 days before start changing. So your "habit" tells you "can eat moar!" and u feel it as "hunger" so you fill your belly with fibers/carbs which are tasty and easy to find and your body make you feel satisfied, it cut the hunger feeling but then, later after it captures all it cans, the system notices the lack of specific nutrients like things you wont find in a small list of ingredients, that makes you feel hungry again and you never feel really satisfied, feel always tired ( lack energy to do the things you wish), most likely get fat, since fat is mostly carbs (sugar/sweet or flour/grains) and decrease your life spam.

Iron 18mg (0,018g) (calf, fish, egg, parsley...)
Zinc 15mg (meat in general, Oyster richest in it, peanuts...)
Copper 2mg (liver, cashew...)
Manganese 2mg (seafood, beans, green tea, pineapple...)
Iodine 150ug (sea fish, milk, beer...)
Chromium 120ug (broccoli, grape juice, potatoes...)
Selenium 70ug (chestnut, flour...)
