Jewelry designer Soo Kyung Bae of Singapore created this project to emphasize the area because of the media's obsession with the size of the space between a woman's legs and to show how foolish this is. Moreover, this fixation on a woman's thigh gap creates unrealistic beauty standards for women and makes an unnecessary psychological pressure on them about their body image.
