The “Freedom Tower” is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex that was destroyed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The building opened on November 3, 2014. It is the tallest skyscraper in the Western Hemisphere and the fourth-tallest in the world. Its height is 1,776 feet (541 m) which is a symbolic number since it is the year when the United States signed the Declaration of Independence. But it is also a symbol of remembrance for all people who lost their lives that day.
