On the New York subway, it is not allowed to carry animals unless they are “enclosed in a container”. The rule, however, says nothing about the size of the animal. This gap in the rule is readily exploited by some dog owners, who transport their pets simply in their bags. Someone managed to take some snapshots of them, and they do look sort of funny.
