It is all wrong about Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. When they met he was married and they both felt it was wrong to start a relationship. He had to divorce first and he did. They did nine movies together because Paul was very demanded while Joanne who gave birth has lost directors' interest so he put her participation in the movie as a prerequisite for his own participation.
Both were married at the time, but Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor started seeing each other when they made 1963's "Cleopatra."
