Artist Trina Merry from New York has a unique body art style. She makes her models almost completely merge with photography. But in her “Lost in Wonder” project her models blend into some of the most iconic locations of the world.
Polish painter Zdzisław Beksiński had a tragic life. His wife, Zofia, died in 1998. A year later, on Christmas Eve 1999, his son Tomasz committed suicide. Beksiński was the one who discovered his son's body. In 2005 Zdzisław Beksiński was stabbed to death at his Warsaw apartment by a 19-year-old acquaintance because he refused to lend the teenager $100 and threatened him further.
John Thackwray, a photographer from South Africa, created a photo series he called ‘My Room Project.’ He traveled around the world for six years taking pictures of millennials’ bedrooms, people born in 80s and 90s. He has been to 55 countries and photographed over 1,000 bedrooms for his project. Its purpose is to “capture and compare the different hopes and aspirations of one particular generation.”
