Barney Ronald Fuller Jr ate steak and bread

Fuller Jr was executed after an almost-three-month halt in executions. He died in Texas on October 5.

The 53-year-old was sentenced to death over the murders of Annette and Nathan Copeland, who were his neighbours.

Fuller Jr ate steak, potatoes, beans, sliced bread and a pair for his last meal, but given rules in Texas prohibit final requests, he had no say in the matter.

Fuller Jr did not wish to make any final comments before he was executed.
