Here is why most underwhelmed:

a. Actors talking politics while promoting movie.
b. The movie was unnecessary. (Ben Hur)
c. Actors are not as popular as Hollywood think they are. (ex: Tina Fey)

I think they bombed mostly because the movies were not interesting.
Hail Caesar - is so pompous and boring.
Zoolander - is like "I don't wanna see that guy again"
The Finest Hours - looks like a cheap mix of the Oscar Caprio movie and a bad version of Jason Bourne.
Bridget Jones's Baby - looks like people who aren't funny trying to be.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot - sounds like someone is trying to impress us with army gibrish and an actor who can't even pretend its in a serious place.
Keanu tried so hard to act like a cat would draw attention from most ppl and wasn't much funny, full of cliche.
Pride and Prejudice - was a surprisingly good movie with a plot and story that no one wants to see being bummed by a yet another zombie cheap cliche.
Popstar - the main actor was interesting at the begining of his role in the tv show but now he is changed and aged and is kinda weirdly trying to be funny instead of being funny.
The Brothers Grimsby - was funny BUTT it was too big of a cloaca to be watched by the majority.
