Mark Thompson was walking around Sherwood Forest with his metal detector when its signal suddenly went off. What he found was unbelievable – he unearthed a massive golden ring, presumably dating back to the age of Prince of Thieves himself, namely the 14-th century! By estimates, this walk around the forest could have brought Mark a hefty £70,000.
