#45 While the longest U.S. inaugural speech in history is Harrison's with a recorded 8,445 words, the two hours it took President Harrison to orate his speech was not due to the length of his words, rather due to the snow storm during the outdoor inauguration preventing his speech from being spoken in its entirety without interruption. Otherwise, his speech re-orated by several after the facts, have never exceeded 18 minutes.
