Taken on Sept. 6, 1978, at a pre-party and premiere of The Buddy Holly Story. Moon died of an overdose of Heminevrin, a drug intended to curb alcohol abuse, on Sept. 7, 1978, in London. Alcohol and cocaine were also found in his system at the time of his death.
