Skipping Rocks Lab, a bunch of engineering graduates from RCA and Imperial College London, first introduced their project in 2013. It’s essentially an edible water bubble made from a natural seaweed extract. The product does not contain any waste and is fully biodegradable in 4-6 weeks if left unconsumed. As they recently raised over $750 thousand via crowdfunding, we might soon see the problem of plastic pollution lighten up considerably.
