Cannibal Holocaust (1980)

The reaction to this was was so strong, that it’s not surprising that it’s been banned. As one of the first “Found Footage” horror movies, about a fictional documentary crew shooting a movie in the Amazon, it’s pretty graphic. So graphic, that audiences thought that people were actually killed, and it was banned across 40 different countries. In fact, it’s still banned in New Zealand.
